A leading Manufacturing Company based in County Roscommon are currently on the lookout for an Electrical Maintenance Technician who will work with the Engineering and Technicians to minimise the downtime on all

Do you have experience as an Electrician and are involved in preforming planned maintenance, routines and reactive repairs on a range of electrical installations and manufacturing equipment? If so then this is the role for you.

This role is great for a proactive, forward-thinking individual looking to take a step forward in a diverse and successful organisation and carry out all engineering work to a high quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To carry out PPM, repairs, installation and improvements for all plant and services in order to minimize and downtime and ensure the equipment is in correct working condition.
  • Report all issues to the Maintenance Manager and ensure that you maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Use hand tools, equipment and machinery for maintenance, repair and minor improvement.
  • Be proactive and client focused in the delivery of all works.
  • Produce work of a high standard within the given deadline.
  • Communicate effectively with equipment suppliers when required in response to installation and fault diagnosis.
  • Work closely with the department in order to source new parts or spares for equipment when needed.
  • Change Injection Moulds as required.
  • Set up equipment and facilitate changeover as well as calibrate the equipment when required.
  • Carry out electrical installation of new plant and machinery.
  • Abide by the company health & safety regulations on a daily basis.

 

Skills & Experiences Required:

  • Degree or equivalent Mechatronic Qualification with fitter and toolmaker knowledge.
  • 3+ years’ experience in working in a regulated Maintenance Role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Mechanical and Electrical fault findings.
  • Experience of troubleshooting on Injection Moulding and Automated Lines.
  • Ability to work as a team and on your own.
  • Organised and highly motived to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Industrial phase motor and control systems.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
