A well-established Manufacturing Company is recruiting for a talented Manufacturing Engineer that will ideally have an electrical background.  

The successful candidate will add to the strength of a team of highly devoted professionals and will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to work closely with the team members and clients.

Job Description:

Provide technical support for a range of electrical processes and procedures for manufacturing equipment within the business, in an environment where safety comes first. This role is open to both Graduates and Experience Engineers. The company have taken on huge projects in the last few years and have an ever-growing demand for engineering professionals from all levels.

Responsibilities for the Role:

  • Provide electrical and instrumentation support and direction for company projects.
  • Contribute to every stage of the electrical aspects of company projects.
  • Carrying out inspecting, testing and commissioning on project electrical installations and corrective repairs as required.
  • Voice and implement continuous improvements across the projects working on.
  • Record accurately and in detail, technical information as necessary within the scope of a project.
  • Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
  • Uphold health and safety standards through proficient use of risk and methods statements.
  • Work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and also investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages.
  • Produce outline electrical, instrumentation and control design on contracts

Experience and Skills for the Role:

  • Graduate to Senior level positions available.
  • Hold a good understanding of the manufacturing industry.
  • Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and effectively make smart decisions relating to the projects.
  • Responsible and accountable individual.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
