Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Leinster

Company Overview: Our Clients a leading electrical services company based in Ireland, providing a range of solutions for electrical design, installation, maintenance, and testing. We work across a range of industries, including commercial, industrial, residential, data centres, and renewable energy.

 

Job Overview: We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they deliver to the required quality standards and within the agreed timeframe.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit project reports and financial forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure that all work complies with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, managing electrical projects in a range of industries.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Full driving license.

 

Salary Range: The salary for this role will be competitive and will depend on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
