Electrical Quantity Surveyor Manchester Salary Negotiable
INFORM3 Recruitment are actively recruiting an Electrical Quantity Surveyor for our client in the Manchester area. As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee all electrical aspects of a project, then you will make sure these aspects remain on time and on budget.
To be considered for the role you will ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying with previous experience overseeing the electrical aspects of a project.
Main responsibilities:
- Complying Value Engineered bids for Tender Packages as a cost-saving option for clients.
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Assist in the development of estimating strategies, quoting and the provision of schedules of rates etc.
- Raise and agree variations, disputes, early warnings, extensions of time.To attend Pre-start meetings with the Client.
- Maintains and calculates projects budget and informs clients of changes as they arise.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, similar level degree or vocational qualification (or equivalent)
- A high level of written and verbal communication
- Has to understand commercial and financial risk
- Experience in the electrical environment
- Experience managing a variety of budget types
- Has to be efficient at prioritising and preparing
