Electrical Supervisor – Omagh
Location: Omagh, Co. Tyrone
Salary: £42 – 45k
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a project in Omagh.
Working closely with the Project and Contracts Management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of electrical operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site.
- Manage electrical operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are properly planned and resourced.
- Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications and current regulations.
- Monitor progress, workmanship and productivity against the project programme.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, building and other trades.
- Liaise with Project Managers, site management and other members of the project team.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
- Carry out site inspections and oversee snagging and close-out of works.
- Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
- Maintain accurate site and progress records.
About You
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualifications.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Foreperson or similar.
- Strong experience within electrical building services/M&E contracting.
- Good knowledge of commercial electrical installations and current regulations.
- Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical information.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
- Relevant supervisory and health & safety qualifications would be advantageous.
Package
- £42,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
