Energy Engineer Dublin
Our client based in Dublin has an immediate requirement to recruit a Services Engineer to join their energy and renewables team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be joining a growing team delivering energy efficiency products and services from initial requirement gathering to site audits and implementation, taking responsibility for overseeing your own designated projects and working to your own initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the implementation of energy efficiency projects
- Drive operational improvements though the identification and implementation of opportunities to improve energy and sustainability performance
- Provide energy audits across domestic, industrial and commercial sectors
- Implement best practices, develop case studies and develop new business opportunities.
- Support the development of project specifications and assessing vendor proposals
- Be a key point of contact for the provision of wide-ranging advice in relation to all aspects of environmental sustainability
- Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance
- Ensure all projects meet relevant legislation
To apply you need to be / have:
- University Degree in a Building Services or Engineering related subject
- Excellent understanding of energy efficiency solutions and renewables with at least 3 years experience working in a similar role
- Technical understanding of the most common electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Experienced conducting site audits and walkthroughs
- Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
