Engineering Coordinator                  Co. Tyrone                £45-55K

As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all elements and process areas of the engineering department and site services are run as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for Managing and developing maintenance schedules and ensure that PMS are completed on time and any issues arise report them directly to the Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage store system and ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
  • Responsible for budget control, ensuring all spare part purchases are adequate and within specification
  • Manage Job Request System via MP2/Weblink, ensure all work is recorded and completed on time.
  • Follow all Health & Safety Regulations and Requirements as set out by the company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all staff complete daily documentation with downtime reasons and solutions to those problems, with dates and times recorded.
  • Progress reports of specific projects.
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and that protective equipment is used.
  • Appraise and develop training requirements of team.
  • Ensure team briefs are conducted.
  • Ensure all Company Policy and Procedures are complied with.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent within Engineering Environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a supervisory role.
  • Experience of machine re-engineering, adjustment and computerised planned maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.
  • Experience within Food Manufacturing environment desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • “Can-do” attitude.
