Role for an Engineer who is looking to progress into management. Minimum 3 years’ experience in site engineering required. Company based in Newry, travel to projects required with this role. Van and fuel supplied.

INFORM Construction Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading Building Construction Company with projects throughout Ireland. The company has been operating for over 40 years and has delivered award winning projects up to the value of £40M.

With this opportunity the successful Engineer will progress into a more management style position and will take a lead in training and developing junior member of staff. Limited setting out is required for this position, but a strong background technical background is required to be considered. The role will involve mainly working with the Project Manager and play a critical role in the successful delivery of the project. Excellent salary and package on offer for this role.

Criteria

• HND / Degree Qualification in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer
• Site Safety Pass
• Detailed project list for work history, with values
• RC & Steel frame structure experience preferred

Duties

• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Responsibility for all day-to-day construction related issues
• Maintaining an exceptional high standard of health and safety
• Maintain continuous professional development to ensure appropriate technical awareness
• Manage engineering team, sub-contractors and involvement with meetings
