Engineering Manager                      Dungannon, Co. Tyrone

INFORM3 are recruiting for an Engineering Manager for our successful Manufacturing client based in County Tyrone

This role is suited to the individual candidate that has an understanding of all aspects of supervision, production, quality, training and many other areas that will be under your control.

You will mainly be responsible for managing and developing the technical team and the systems and processes to deliver a professional service to both the internal and external customer to ensure efficient use of time and resource.

Duties Include:

• Provide leadership and maintain a high standard of all aspects within all the departments throughout the company.
• Communicate effectively to a team of people within all aspects of the Training, Health & Safety, Quality, Projects and discipline in a specific area of control.
• Plan the daily production, allocate duties, organise material supplies, co-ordinate breaks and advise the team when and where necessary.
• Work closely with customers through the sales team and dealers to fully understand the customer’s business and what they need and be creative with the solutions provided.
• Ensure that regular inspections are carried out of departmental production and make sure to record all information.
• Work alongside the management team reviewing and developing processes throughout the business to enhance delivery of projects, being involved in continuous innovation and change throughout the business.
• To participate and ensure that all employees that are under your control are fully trained.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 5+ years plus experience working within a Manufacturing Environment.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Hands on approach to work.
• An analytical approach to problem solving.
• Proficient IT Skills such as Microsoft Excel.
• Keen understanding of the importance of Safety, Quality and on-time delivery.
