INFORM3 are recruiting for an Engineering Team Lead for our successful Manufacturing client based in County Galway.

This role is suited to the individual candidate that has an understanding of all aspects of supervision, production, quality, training and many other areas that will be under your control and you will be reporting to the Production Supervisor on a regular basis.

You will mainly be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, designing, developing and implementing an advanced and compliant ERP system solution to support evolving business issues.

Duties Include:

• Provide leadership and maintain a high standard of all aspects within all the departments throughout the company.
• Communicate effectively to a team of people within all aspects of the Production, Training, Health & Safety, Quality, Projects and discipline in a specific area of control.
• Plan the daily production, allocate duties, organise material supplies, co-ordinate breaks and advise the team when and where necessary.
• Ensure that regular inspections are carried out of departmental production and make sure to record all information.
• To evaluate ERP systems and select an appropriate ERP system that best fits the future business position.
• To participate and ensure that all employees that are under your control are fully trained.
• Ensure that your team has an awareness of all Quality Plans and Quality Documents relating to production.
• To lead the IS team effectively and provide essential people management support where required.
• To co-ordinate, in conjunction with validation engineering, the validation of new applications to satisfy regulatory standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 4+ years plus experience working within a Manufacturing Environment.
• Knowledge an understanding of Medical Device Systems.
• Level 8 Degree or Equivalent in Design & Development.
• Knowledge and understanding of ERP Systems.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Hands on approach to work.
• An analytical approach to problem solving.
• Proficient IT Skills such as Microsoft Excel.
• Keen understanding of the importance of Safety, Quality and on-time delivery.
