Engineers – Signature Project (Facebook)

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint Engineers from Graduate to Senior Level, for work based on the Facebook project. The client has major sections of the Facebook project and requires engineers to carry out civil works. It is vital that the successful candidate is able to work independently and is driven to complete the task at hand whilst coordinating with site management and the client. They will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.

 

 

Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout. Regularly report to the project manager.
  • Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
  • Management and control of plant and equipment
  • Management of health and safety on site
  • Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
  • Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both, on site
  • Keeping up to date site diaries and paperwork
  • Conducting Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
  • Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
  • Ensure competence of staff
  • Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of works to the site manager

 

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineer background
  • 1 years’ plus experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Full driving licence
  • Setting out knowledge
