Environmental Planning Officer - Dublin

Planning Officer                               Dublin                  €50-60k

Our client based in Dublin has an immediate requirement to recruit a Planning Officer with experience in the Renewables/Environmental sectors to join their team to accelerate sustainable action and positive change.

You will be working as part of a team in the delivery of a wide range of projects within the renewables sector, monitoring and maintaining environmental compliance, ensuring legislative and planning conditions are met and rectifying any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning applications and environmental assessments
• Stakeholder management across designated projects
• Be a key point of contact for the provision of wide-ranging advice in relation to all aspects of environmental sustainability
• Conducting site audits and walkthroughs
• Liaise between planning offers regarding complaints on site and resolve queries

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience in the fields of environmental sustainability and planning
• Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Experience acquiring and complying with environmental permits and consents
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant subject
