A leading Manufacturing Company located in Galway are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

The role offers the chance to be part of a close-knit team, while developing your own knowledge and skills. The role would be suited to a self-motivated individual with a creative flair and a can-do attitude. Project management skills and attention to details are essential for this role as you will often be required to multitask in a busy environment.

Roles Include:

• Using SolidWorks CAD Packages for design concepts and prepare detailed drawings for assembly design.
• Liaise with customers during design reviews and meetings.
• Create and modify 3D models an provide guidance and liaising closely with the 3D Modelers using effective communication methods such as teams, word and excel.
• Ensure that all health & safety work is carried out within company policy.
• Adhere to the company standards for quality assurance and quality control including all documents and procedures.

Qualifications Required:

• Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or other relevant related discipline.
• 3+ years or experience in Machine/Equipment design
• Experienced in Solidworks
• Excellent planning and organisation skills and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail.
• Self-motivated individual a high level of initiative.
• Well organised approach to work.
