INFORM3 Construction Recruitment is delighted to be working with a Tier 1 building construction company who now have the requirement for a Junior to intermediate estimator to join their multi award winning construction team. Operating over 50 years this company covers a variety of sectors including; Civil Engineering & Infrastructure, New Build Commercial and Residential developments up to the value of £50M. With this position, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside a Senior Estimator who has been with the company for over 5 years. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop into the position. Competitive salary and attractive package.

Duties:

• Providing commercial and technical advice to business development
• Presenting estimates to senior managers
• Calculating site management and preliminary costs
• Winning tenders
• Sourcing and selecting sub-contractor quotations
• Producing bills of quantities

Experience required:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience as an Estimator in construction (building or civils)
• Understanding of the entire bid life-cycle
• Experience and proficiency in Estimating software
• Strong commercial awareness
• Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills
