A specialised manufacturing company with clients across Ireland and the UK market are in a period of growth and looking for an Estimator, they are looking to invest in new talent and support them in carving out their career path. This is a fast-paced environment and the company are keen to bring on an enthusiastic and eager individual who will work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand technical tender drawings and be able to extract and price materials for jobs
• Be competent for best process route for the items to be fabricated.
• Put times to processes using practical knowledge.
• Establish supply chain costs to be included in tenders.
• Generate quotation documents and send to clients.
• Be able to liaise with the client
• Build up a consistent system of market prices
• Provide a timely response and an exceptional level of service to all enquiries.
• Communicate with Clients and Projects Teams. -
• Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task

Requirements

• Experience in an estimating role
• Experience dealing with final accounts
• Competent in excel and software packages
