Estimator – Armagh

The Company

A market leader in manufacturing and supply with specialist joinery are looking to bring on an Estimator and embed them into the company. Quality training and craftsmanship with the latest manufacturing techniques, this company is looking at an ever growing portfolio of work.

The Responsibilities

• To set up Estimating Files upon receipt of enquiries, both electronically and paper completing any further filing/addendums as they arise.
• To complete and maintain archives.
• Significantly interfaces with all supply chain members from both suppliers and subcontractors on all aspects associated with tenders from enquiry to contract award.
• To chase supplier, sub-contractor and manufacturer quotations
• To complete estimating tasks.
• To undertake any other general support and administration duties as will be required from time to time.
• To provide support and assistance to colleagues, and accounts team in peak periods.

Criteria

• HND or equivalent in construction
• 4+ years’ experience estimating in a Construction/manufacturing background
• High level of computer literacy and ability to adapt to various software packages
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed
