The Company

An award-winning company based in Co Down are delighted to open an opportunity for an Estimator to join their team. This company works in construction and fit outs and you will be working on residential projects from the value of £15-20 million. This is a perfect opportunity if you are seeking to work for a reputable company with staff longevity, investing in their talent and providing a lucrative career. 

The Job:

• Liaising with the client
• Researching materials, equipment and labour costs.
• Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
• Analysing company data, exchange rates and prices using software packages.
• Preparing and submitting quotations for work.
• Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
• Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts.
• Working closely with design team, construction managers and planners.

The successful candidate will be/have all of the following:

• 4 years ’plus experience
• You will have a construction related 3rd Level qualification.
• You will have strong computer / excel skills
