Estimator Belfast Salary: Competitive
We are currently recruiting for Estimators for a well-established company based in Belfast.
The role would involve providing accurate and timely estimates for proposed projects considering all the relevant factors.
You would also be involved in site visits and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of cost estimates.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate estimates for construction projects.
- Calculate overall cost of a project.
- Work with contractors and be able to understand specifications in order to provide accurate estimates.
- Be knowledgeable on construction materials and laws.
- Interpret data to develop cost estimates.
- Prepare tender documents and analyse bids
- Give technical advice to clients
- Conduct site visits.
Key Skills
- 2-5 years’ Experience in an Engineering environment.
- Proficient in computer software to create and manage estimates.
- Great analytical skills.
- Great negotiating skills.
- Ability to deal with challenging situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
