INFORM3 Recruitment are currently representing a leading company within the Manufacturing and Fit Out industry based in County Antrim. They are looking for a talented and confident Fabrication Manager to join their team of skilled individuals.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage and work closely with close knit and supportive team of engineers.
• Manufacture different aspects of company projects, taking full responsibility for all fabrication tasks.
• Read engineering drawings in order to identify what is needed from the fabrication team.
• Operate any relevant machinery in relation to current projects and their outcomes.
• Perform both MIG and TIG welding.
• Fabrication of bespoke components.
• Meet production targets while maximising team efficiency.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and responsibilities.
• Deliver an outstanding level of service to all company clients, through meeting requirements on projects.
• Fabrication of all metal products and components as required.
• Communicate clearly with team members and department managers all relevant information about the jobs and requirements, including any problems or issues encountered.

Experience and Knowledge:

The candidate is required to have 5-10 years’ experience in the Manufacturing industry with good knowledge of metal fabrication. The individual should hold recognisable qualifications in relation to the role, and have the ability to manage people well.

Skills:

• TIG Welding or MIG Welding
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of individuals.
• Positive with a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to manage a busy work load.
• Determination to complete work to tight deadlines.
