Fabrication Site Manager         Down   £40-45k

INFORM3 Recruitment are working with a highly reputable construction company who are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join their team.

The right candidate will have a sound knowledge of steel and pipeline fabrication, with a minimum of 4 years experience in site management, self-motivated, team orientated, with excellent organisational skills, able to form good working relationships and have the ability to stay on top of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage weekly production, and implement operational procedures.
• Communicate with project management teams through conducting meetings.
• Support co-ordination, planning and improvement of fabrication and operations.
• Managing a team.
• Review daily production plans and targets.
• Discuss areas of concern to the production manager.
• To ensure best practice and continuous improvement in divisional and project processes.
• To provide effective and timely assistance, advice and support during the project, and oversee the project teams responsible for producing it.
• Guarantee all welding actions are followed and fulfilled.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a fabrication background
• Certifications in fabrication or welding highly desirable
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, pipeline fabrication and welding
• Good organisational skills, in terms of time management for projects and work.
• A positive team player and leader, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Ability to communicate at all levels. 
• Practical problem solver.
• Professional attitude and the commitment to provide high standard work.
