Facade Manager - Dublin

Inform3 Recruitment are seeking a Façade Manager for a busy main contractor active on education projects across Dublin.

The ideal candidate will come onboard a €50m project in the Greater Dublin Area and remain there for a further 6-7 months. Following this, they will join another education project near the Blanchardstown area to manage the Building Envelope/Facades. This project is set to run 18-24 months.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in other aspects of Site Management as well.

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 & package

Sector: Education

The Role

• Responsible for the day-to-day externals of the project
• Producing a program of works
• Liaise and work collaboratively with the internal design team and any external team as and when required
• Reporting progress to Project Management
• Meeting deadlines
• Liaise with the logistics manager to ensure deliveries and lifts are carried out on time
• Uphold a high standard of Health & Safety at all times
• Attending regular meetings on and off site with the site team and the design team to ensure communication is concise

Job Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a Site Management role in construction with Facades being involved
• Experience in education construction an advantage
• Third level qualification in construction management/Civil Engineering.
• Excellent delegation & organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of quality and safety management systems.
• Good IT skills with ability to generate detailed site reports.
• Ability to drive projects and work within strict deadlines.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.
• Full Irish driving licence.
