Facades Manager - Dublin

Job Title – Façade Manager

Project – Residential and Commercial projects

Job Location - Dublin

Salary – €60,000- €70,000

About the Company

This main contractor has over 100 years of combined construction experience across Ireland and the UK delivering high quality projects and have received multiple awards for their projects.

The Role

• Planning and programming the overall façade construction programme from start to finish in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Carrying out technical appraisal of Subcontractors proposals to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Chairing regular façade progress meetings to include reviews on safety, quality, resources, program, site coordination and interface works.
• Managing the technical submittals, tracking sign off and BCAR approvals process for the façade scope.
• Using BIM field or similar to review project quality and conduct a full check list for each specific system with photographic evidence for BCL and client records.
• Using BIM plan or similar to review 2 week “look ahead” and ensure work does not clash with any other contractors proposed work and creating a contingency plan if any work should clash.
• Liaising with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure façade is delivered within budget and programme.

Requirements

• Proven history of managing facades projects.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Facades Manager.
• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification.
• Strong sense of ownership over projects.
