Field Service Engineer                    Co. Cork, Munster Area Travel 

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join an expanding Manufacturing team based in County Cor where the role will require a candidate who is hands on and is a qualified electrician with some mechanical experience.

The successful candidate will be carrying out a mixture of PPM & new installs of machines and equipment across a wide variety of sectors and have strong experience of tools required.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be reporting to the Managing Director on a day-today basis.
• Mechanical and Electrical maintenance, repairs, breakdowns of machines and fitting.
• To keep records of all documented jobs and communicate effectively with the service desk on a daily basis.
• Coordinate, organise and participate in the equipment assembly on site.
• To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations.
• Understand and implement the health & safety procedures onsite with customers.
• Diagnosis and reparations of failed equipment, order and replace parts as needed.
• To represent the company with the highest of standards and giving the best possible service to the customers.
• To have a knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience as an Electrician service engineer or equivalent.
• Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical engineering background.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience of preventative/reactive maintenance techniques.
• Automation/PLC knowledge desirable.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
