Job Title – Field Service Technician

Job Location – Co. Louth (Travel Required)

Salary – €40K - €45K BOE Plus Vehicle & Fuel Card

 

About the Company:

Our client based in Co. Louth are currently on the lookout for a Field Service Technician where you will regularly attend for site work all over Ireland and occasionally in UK as well so working abroad in short spells in the UK may be required as part of this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right Field Service Technician to join a business that invests in its engineers and provides excellent training and development.

Duties Involve:

  • Manufacturing Brine Station Control Units including plumbing, electronic circuits, PC setup etc.
  • Testing plumbing assembly and electronic circuits for faults.
  • Installation of Brine Station Control Units onto GRP tanks (made in the UK).
  • Installation of Brine Stations on sites across Ireland and occasionally in the UK.
  • Repair and maintenance of Brine Stations in the field.
  • Annual decommissioning and recommissioning of Brine Stations in the field.
  • Client liaisons & Customer Training.
  • Research and development.

Skills Required:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience of Electrical knowledge ideally with experience in electrical fault finding.
  • The successful candidate will be self-motivated, excellent with their hands and capable of working independently.
  • Must be happy to work away from home during the week and during very busy periods occasional weekends.
  • The person will have strong problem-solving skills especially with electrical fault finding.
  • A third level qualification in any fitting or engineering discipline would be advantageous but not necessary if the candidate can demonstrate comparable field experience.
  • Full, clean Irish/EU/UK drivers’ licence.
  • Have a valid passport and be willing to travel when required.
