Finance Business Partner - Co Down
INFORM3 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support key stakeholders within our client’s management team, providing strategic input and financial performance analysis and support the delivery of long-term strategies.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years performing in a similar role with proven experience being responsible for significant income and expenditure within the manufacturing or construction sectors.
This is a senior role within the business.
Core responsibilities
- Providing analytical, financial, reporting and forecasting support
- Report on business performance, providing regular insight and analysis with recommendations in order to understand the potential impact of decisions.
- Ensure stock and inventory management processes and procedures are robust
- Facilitate the development of financial plans and ensure they are delivered, monitored and controlled.
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business departments to ensure that the objectives of the business are understood
- Advise on and facilitate the implementation of new systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Requirements
- Relevant Accountancy Certifications
- Experience of establishing effective relationships with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of costing goods, valuing inventory and analysing cost variances
- Ability to gather and analyse internal and external data from a wide range of sources in order to drive commercial insight.
- Ability to explain complex management information in written and verbal form to financial and non-financial people
- Strong continuous improvement and change management skills
- Experience with SAP highly desirable
- Able to prioritise own workload within tight deadlines
