Job Title – Finishing / Fit Out Foreman

Job Location – Belfast

Salary - £38,000 - £43,000

About the Company

Very reputable contractor based in Northern Ireland, working all over Ulster and doing the odd projects in ROI. They would specialise in commercial projects. Excellent projects for the CV and good career progression if showing the right attitude.

The Role

• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in commercial would be preferable but not essential
• Carpentry / joinery background
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
