Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Project - School

Job Location – Armagh

Salary – £35k - £45k

About the Company

Main building contractor based in Co Down are undertaking a large educational project in Armagh. This contractor is extremely reputable and would handle multi million pound projects throughout Ireland and UK.

The Role

• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in commercial & residential
• Carpentry / joinery background
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
