Job Title: Finishing Foreman

Job Location: Galway

Salary: €50k - €60k

About the Company

Tier 2 award-winning general building contractor and civil engineering company with over 25 years’ experience in Ireland and the UK and an annual turnover of €70m. With experience in sectors such as residential, education, healthcare, hotels & leisure, commercial their experience is wide-ranging. Would frequently work on projects of €5m-€12m.

The Role

• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring that all work follows safety procedures
• Attending meetings on a weekly basis
• Keeping track of manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping making note of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of equipment on site
• Maintaining quality control checks

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience as General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably on large sites
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in industrial or residential projects
• Experience in management of sub-contractors
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills
