Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Project – Residential

Job Location – Laois

Salary – €50k - €60k

About the Company

An excellent opportunity for a Finishing Foreman to work on a housing development in Portlaoise. The contractor has multiple live projects the West Midlands with the view of tendering for further contracts early 2023.  Provides great opportunity for long-term in the Southwest of Ireland.

The Role

• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintain quality control checks
• Assist in the controlling of on-site equipment
• Finish internal building to a high standard
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Site Foreman/Finishing Foreman
• Experience of working on housing projects with a main contractor
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Carpentry background
