Finishing Foreman - Waterford

Inform3 Recruitment are hiring for a very busy developer in Waterford who are currently on multiple house-building projects at €20m-€30m in value. Constant pipeline of residential projects in Waterford.

 

Job Title: Finishing Foreman

Job Location: Waterford City

Sector: Residential

Salary: €60,000 - €70,000

 

The Role

  • Responsible for the day to day managing/supervision of site while reporting to the Project Manager
  • Inspecting works in progress/completed work to make sure complies with project specifications
  • Monitoring/raising/tracking variations on site in conjunction with Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager
  • Maintaining a constant drive to achieve production outputs in order to meet targets while maintaining quality standards, and delivering on time and within budget
  • Ensuring all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner
  • Implementing/maintaining Health & Safety procedures
  • Ensuring all subcontractors and labour workers are managed in an effective manner.
  • Handling onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner
  • Creating progress reports daily, ensuring significant information is communicated to the Project Manager
  • Attending daily briefings, Record Daily site activities

 

Job Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in the role of Finishing Foreman or General Foreman
  • Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
  • Finishing experience on housing projects
  • Have strong attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines
