Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Project – Residential

Job Location – Dublin

Salary – €60,000 - €75,000 + vehicle + bonus

 

About the Company

My client is seeking a Finishing Foreman to join their established team working on apartment developments in the Dublin area. This is a permanent position as a result of multiple new contracts coming through.  

The successful candidate will be finishing out a project in South Dublin with 3-4 months left on the job then once settled in will be overseeing the finishing of a 70-unit development in the Tallaght area.

They have excellent staff retention and a very settled team, use the same subbies for most of their jobs and have a great reputation in the Dublin area.

 

The Role

  • Coordination and supervision of the finishing for residential apartment projects in Dublin
  • Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
  • Report into and support the Project Manager and Site Manager
  • Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
  • Managing sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high and works are completed on time and within budget.  
  • Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

 

Requirements

  • A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background (carpentry/ joinery preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role with a construction company in ROI – main contractor or fit out contractor preferred
  • Experience working on high volume residential developments in essential
