Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Job Location – Dublin and Greater Area

Salary - €50,000 - €56,000

About the Company

This growing contractor for the last 10 years or so has worked on a wide range of projects, both large and small, across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Building an excellent reputation throughout the construction industry, they are seeking a finishing foreman to join their ranks. ​

The Role

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience
• Experience in commercial & residential
• Carpentry background
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
