INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Foreman- Finishing  

Project – Commercial 

Job Location – Cork  

Salary – €55K-€70K

About the Company

A Top Tier Main Contractor specialising in commercial projects across the Munster region.

My client is keen to chat to experience Finishing Foremen capable over managing first and second fix installations and ensuring the quality of work.

Ideally will come from a Joinery or Carpentry Background working on Commercial projects.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the finishing of a Commercial Development.
• Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Site manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager.   
• Oversee manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors and consult with local authorities when needed.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background.
• Ideally Carpentry of Joinery Background.
• A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role on commercial projects.
• Experience working with bespoke joinery packages.
