Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Job Location – Mainland UK

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000

About the Company

Very reputable top tier contractor based in Northern Ireland, however has a lot of work on the ground in Mainland UK and is looking to grow their management team on site, with a site manager. This contractor carries out large commercial projects valued from £10M - £100M. Excellent benefits and progression are included

The Role

• Reporting to Site manager and Project Manager
• Liaising with sub-contractors: to ensure programmes are maintained and services are co-ordinated effectively
• Liaising with H&S Officer: promoting the implementation of the safety management system
• Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors
• Attending weekly management team meetings
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site
• Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in at least one of our key areas - commercial, residential, data centres and hospitality 
• Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
