Finishing Manager

Rightpath Recruitment has the immediate requirement for a Finishing Site Manager to join a reputable construction company for projects in the Dublin City area. The company is a medium sized building contractor who have an apartment scheme valued close to €30M. The RC Frame to this project has now been completed, so there is the requirement to add someone who has strong knowledge of all aspects of joinery including 1^st and 2^nd fix. The Manager will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experiences working to tight deadlines. The Manager is required to have experience large scale commercial projects from start to handover. There is a full year left on this project which is based in the west of the City. Attractive salary and package on offer with this position.

Criteria

• Joinery Background
• Demonstrable record of successfully delivering New Build Commercial or Refurbishment Projects valued €3M+
• Experience of planning and monitoring project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
• Experience of managing and developing a team

Duties

• Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet programme and budgetary constraints
• Day to day running of Site
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Preparing and monitoring work programmes to deliver projects to deadlines
• Responsibility for maintaining excellent client relationships
• Providing specialist technical leadership
