Finishing Manager - Tier 1 Contractor - Cork

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Finishing Manager – Tier 1 Contractor

Project – High Rise Residential (RC Frame)

Job Location – Antrim

Salary – €60K - €70K

About the Company

Working with a reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor who specialise in delivering high volume residential developments and commercial projects across Ireland and Mainland UK.

This project is live – structural works are finishing and the project now requires a strong finishing Foreman or Finishing Manager to oversee the internal package.

The project is running until September 2023 and is 500+ units so a good-sized project to get stuck in to.  

Immediate Start available.

The Role

• Report to Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Liaise with, coordinate and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Attend site meetings and host meetings among trades teams.
• Manage multiple teams of trades to handover.  
• Finishing internal building to a high standard and in line with programme.
• Manage and drive labour force.
• Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with project programme.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman with a main contractor or developer in ROI or UK.    
• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Carpentry or Joinery Background)
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring a high standard of work.
