Finishing Manager - UK Travel - Northern Ireland

Job Title – Finishing Manager

Project – High Volume Residential Projects  

Job Location – Fortnightly Travel – Mainland UK   

Salary - £40K - £45K plus package  

About the Company

I have an excellent, new opportunity for one of Northern Ireland's busiest Tier 1 Main Contractors who specialise in high rise, high volume residential developments.

The successful candidate will be working on a New Build apartment Development in the London area – 500+ units   

This role would be ideal for an experience Joinery Foreman/ Finishing who has worked on developments over 100 units and looking to progress into site management.

The company has further work lined up for the Greater Belfast area and there will be long-term work on offer for the successful candidate.

The Role

• Finishing internal building in accordance with the programme.
• Understanding the finishing sequence and organizing labour and materials to deliver in accordance with the programme.
• Liaise with various subcontractors on a daily basis
• Check completed works and ensure they are of a high standard
• Ensure Quality of works
• Resolve day to day issue's onsite in a timely, amicable and efficient manner to ensure the programme is maintained.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with the programme and drive labour force to work at maximum capacity while on-site.
• Organise works in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines
• QA all tradesmen work in a systematic way to ensure quality is maintained at all times.
• Manage housekeeping and all H&S aspects on a daily basis.
