Fit Out Manager - Belfast

Job Title – Fit Out Manager

Project – Commercial

Job Location – Belfast City

Salary - £45K - £50K plus travel  

About the Company

I have an excellent, new opportunity for a very busy Main Contractor who specialises in high value commercial projects across NI and the UK.  

The successful candidate will be working on a new commercial development that is live and running until Sept 2023. Future work will be UK Based.  

The Role

• Finishing internal building in accordance with the programme.
• Understanding the finishing sequence and organizing labour and materials to deliver in accordance with the programme.
• Ensure material & plant stock is sufficient going forward and complies with welfare, H&S etc.
• Complete material take-offs in accordance with the programme. This includes dry-lining, carpentry, joinery, mechanical, electrical, sanitary ware, tiling & paint
• Liaise with various subcontractors on a daily basis and support the flow of information from Senior Management.
• Ensure sufficient labour resources are on-site to complete the works while not straining our labour forecast.
• Resolve day to day issue's onsite in a timely, amicable and efficient manner to ensure the programme is maintained.
• Drive labour force to work at maximum capacity while on-site.
• Organise works in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines
• QA all tradesmen work in a systematic way to ensure quality is maintained at all times.
• Manage housekeeping and all H&S aspects on a daily basis.
