About the Company

An established and well-respected Fit Out contractor who work on projects across Ireland and the UK require a Project Manager to oversee the smooth delivery of commercial projects across UK and ROI.

My client has an interesting and varied portfolio of projects and interesting clients ranging between office fit out, shop fitting and hospitality.

Projects are all fast fit out with programmes of 6-20 weeks and valued up to £5M.

This is a Senior Role within the company, supporting the Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will be required to work on site 1-2 days days per week as required by the company.

The Role

• Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet project deadline.
• Manage the full construction lifecycle for fitout and refurb projects in London & other major UK Cities.
• Provide Technical support to the Project Team and overcome any issues that arise during construction phase efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Co-ordination of the supply chain procurement process to ensure construction phase can happen according to programme.
• Assist with build ability issues and value engineering related to the internal package.
• Manage meetings with the design team and specialist contractors.
• Oversee the relevant Site Managers driving the on-site delivery while ensuring productivity levels are high.
• Maintain a continuous focus on Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects in the commercial fit out sector.
• Strong Engineering / Trades / Building Background
• Demonstrable record of successfully delivering Commercial Fit Outs valued £500K
• Experience of planning and monitoring project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints
• Ideally will have office fit out experience.
• IT and standard industry software skills
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
• Experience of managing and developing a team
