Fit-Out Foremen – NI & ROI

INFORM3 are recruiting Fit-Out Foremen to work on several retail and commercial projects in Ulster, Connaught and Leinster. The successful candidate will work for a client who has been in the industry for more than 20 years. With their many years of experience in the industry, they have been known to produce high-grade projects repeatedly and gained the reputation of being an extremely trustworthy contractor.

The successful candidates must come from a fit-out / joinery background and be able to manage various teams. 

Fit Out Foremen Key Responsibilities:

• Report into the Project Manager
• Review the project programme regularly
• Organise work that is aligned with targets and deadlines
• Communicate regularly with each site team, highlighting specific requirements
• Conduct site inspections on workmanship, ensuring quality standards are consistent throughout the project
• Manage and coordinate Machinery, Equipment and materials
• Complete site paperwork
• Liaise with clients and design teams when appropriate
• Ensure that all site teams are in accordance with site Health & Safety regulations
• Conduct site meetings
• Attend Management meetings
• Provide regular reports to the Project Manager

Fit-Out Foremen Specifications:

• 4 years or more in a similar position
• Preferably from a Joinery / Fit-Out background
• Able to manage and organise groups of trades
• Sound knowledge of standards and specifications
• Organisational, planning and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Full Driving license
