Fleet Manager                      Co. Monaghan               €40-50K

Do you have an understanding of the demands of operating a significant fleet of plant vehicles, up-to-date knowledge of current transport legislation and experience of managing vehicle maintenance contracts?

As a Fleet Manager you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and Senior Management team and be responsible for recording and maintaining all the correct date on a daily basis.

The role is located in County Monaghan which is easily commutable from Clontibret, Middletown and Derrynoose in County Armagh.

Duties Include:

• Maintain all detailed records for every vehicle e.g., parts, service history, accident and incident details.
• Responsible for the fleet and its operation and all legislation.
• Have all detailed plans of action for conditions that may include vehicle breakdowns, crashes, failed inspections and all other relevant information that may affect the fleet travelling to its destination.
• Management of maintenance vendors, procurement & associated contracts.
• Ensure that all drivers comply with the rules & regulations within the company and that the fleet communicate effectively with you.
• You will provide strategic direction, as well as oversee the day-to-day management of vehicle maintenance, fuel management, vehicle legal compliance and H&S regulations.
• you will manage the booking repairs, MOT service, RFL's, fuel cards and accident management.
• Manage all the onboarding and offboarding of all vehicles to drivers such as collections/returns and the damage and condition they are in.

The successful candidate will ensure that the business delivers on its statutory requirements in terms of Health and Safety and that procedures are maintained to comply with business requirements.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience within Vehicle Mechanical Repairs.
• Experience working within Fleet Management and transportation industry.
• Positive attitude with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Excellent Verbal and Non- Verbal Communication.
• Excellent MS Office Skills.
