Foreman - #1 on Site - Limerick

Job Title – Foreman  

Project – Residential

Job Location – Limerick City

Salary – €60K-€65K + package

About the Company

Very busy Main Contractor based in the west working exclusively in the Limerick, Galway and Mayo regions on a range of commercial and residential new builds.

My client had a fantastic growth period last year which is already set to continue throughout 2024 and require a strong Foreman to keep up with new projects.

The successful candidate will be working on a residential development in Limerick with future work in Limerick to follow. Permanent role within the company.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of a residential and commercial development.
• Oversee Industrial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trades Qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years proven experience as a Site Manager.
• Carpentry/ Joinery background is desirable.
• Experience in industrial sector (data centres, warehouses etc.)
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
