Job Title – Foreman

Project – Commercial – refurbishment & extension works

Job Location – Westmeath/ Galway

Salary – €60K-€65K

About the Company

Working on a commercial extension and refurb project in Athlone. Project is currently live with 12 months remaining. The successful candidate will be #1 on site.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of Commercial project.
• Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Project Manager.
• Oversee commercial project and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background.
• A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on extension of live sites, restoration works or conservation projects are desired.
