Job Title – Foreman  

Project – New Build Mixed Use Development

Job Location – Antrim

Salary – £40K - £ 45K + package

About the Company

Very busy Main Contractor specialising in commercial new builds across Ulster and ROI.

My client had a fantastic growth period last year which is already set to continue throughout 2024/2025.

Foreman to oversee the successful completion of a new build mixed use development valued around £5M – heavy piling with steel frame and all associated fit out works.

This is a brand-new development starting in October with at least 12 months on phase 1 & 2 and a further 6 months on Phase 3.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of construction activities on site.
• Oversee installation of internal packages and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trades Qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience managing new build developments
• Carpentry/ Joinery background is desirable.
• Experience with early construction stages – emphasis on piling.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
