Gas Detection Service Engineer - ROI

Gas Detection Engineer                Nationwide                        €45-55k+van

Inform3 are recruiting for a mobile Gas Detection Engineer who can servicing the company’s fixed and portable gas detectors across a variety of sites nationwide.

The successful candidate will be following a maintenance schedule working in a variety of industries attending to installed systems, commissioning, and servicing covering PPM and new installs.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out your daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach prioritising customer service
• Carry out all PPM in accordance with maintenance specifications.
• Complete relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
• To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard
• Address reactive tasks throughout the sites and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Swiftly remedy faults and defects to maintain operational service
• Ensure availability of suitable spares for both maintenance and reactive works
• Complete Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks undertaken.

Person Specification:

• At least 2 years of experience working on fixed gas detection systems in a field-based role, including troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning.
• Experience in scoping and installing new gas detection systems, including client handover
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites
