General Foreman - Armagh

Job Title – General Foreman

Project – School Project

About the Company:

Our client who is a Main Contactor working in both Northern and Southern Ireland based in South Down are looking for a General Foreman with 5 years plus experience to join their team.

You will be working on a £56m school project based in County Armagh and will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics and duties of a General Foreman with excellent opportunities for progression.

The Role:

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme.
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors.
• Managing health and safety delivery on site.
• Attending weekly management team meeting.
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.

Requirements:

• A recent Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.  
• Ideally will have work with a Main Contractor.
• 5+ years’ plus experience working on school project.
• Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
• Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
• Excellent communications.
