Civils General Foreman/Project Manager

Job Location: Dublin

 

Inform3 are recruiting for a General Foreman/Project Manager to join a large civil contractor to work across Dublin on large utility projects.

The client is seeking someone that is able to handle responsibility and work off their own initiative in a busy working environment.

 

Civils General Foreman/Project Manager Role:

  • Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
  • Attending weekly management team meeting 
  • Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
  • Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site

 

Civils General Foreman/Project Manager Requirements:

  • 5 years+ experience as a foreman on civil engineering projects including groundworks, roads, Irish Water, ESB, utilities and concrete
  • Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • An understanding of site levels, and be able to set up and use a pipe laser
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
  • PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
