Generator Engineer - Antrim

Generator Engineer      Belfast      £25-30K

INFORM3 are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work for our client based in Belfast. They offer great career development and to be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance, service and repair of generators and associated technologies.

This role will involve travel nationwide and therefore a company van will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• General repairs, servicing and the ability to carry out routine and reactive maintenance checks of generators.
• Ability to recognise diagnosis and carry out solutions.
• To communicate with external departments and customers.
• To complete the essential and correct paperwork when required in a timely and professional manner.
• To assist and work within the general workshop with on-the-job learning.
• Ability to deal with the physical demands of the job.
• To comply with the companies Health & Safety regulations.
• Ability to repair and service a wider range of generators on customer sites.
• Travelling to various sites for customers when required.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience within a similar role.
• Served as a recognised electrical engineer with a strong knowledge of the electrical aspects of generators and diesel engines
• Can do attitude.
• Demonstrate practical site skills.
• Excellent communication and first-class customer facing skills.
• Ability to meet requirements.
• Full driver’s license.
