Geospatial Surveyor

INFORM3 have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Geospatial Surveyor to join a growing geospatial surveying team based in Dublin. This full-time, site-based role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the Data Centre, Life Sciences, Technology, and Construction sectors throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate geospatial data, supporting digital engineering workflows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams on complex engineering and construction projects.
Geospatial Surveyor Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out land, engineering, and structural surveys using modern surveying equipment.
- Capture accurate geospatial data using total stations, GNSS/GPS, laser scanners, and related technologies.
- Process, validate, and manage survey data to produce precise 2D and 3D deliverables.
- Produce topographic, as-built, and setting-out surveys to project specifications.
- Collaborate with BIM, engineering, and project teams to integrate survey information into digital models.
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, and client deliverables.
- Maintain surveying equipment and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of innovative digital engineering and geospatial solutions.
Geospatial Surveyor Requirements
- Experience in geospatial or engineering surveying.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment including total stations, GNSS/GPS, and laser scanners.
- Experience using survey processing and CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems, setting-out, topographic, and as-built surveys.
- Ability to process, analyse, and quality-check survey data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualification in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety on active construction or industrial sites.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
