GPR Surveyor
Job Location: Derry/Londonderry

INFORM3 are recruiting for a GPR Surveyor/Engineer to work on a numerous civils groundwork projects in UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career progression with long-term work. Office and site based with opportunity for travel in UK/Europe.
The client seeks an engineer with 2 years GPR Surveying experience.
The client is a busy Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client is looking for someone who will be able to use own initiative with a can-do attitude.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Undertaking GPR surveys from start to finish
- Manhole lifting and recording necessary observations and measurements
- Post Processing of GPR Data
- Mentor and train Junior Members of staff
- Regularly revise Site Drawings and Specifications
- Assist in coordinating site staff, providing clear direction on tasks and assisting on technical queries
- Coordinate and control plant, equipment and materials on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Order in materials when necessary
- Maintain the site diary
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Manage traffic on site
Civil Engineers Specification:
- 2 years+ GPR Survey experience
- Third level degree
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Confident in using Microsoft Office
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Full driving licence
